Antonio's Gambler (Jr.)

Head Horse/Ranch  Prospect.

Big, stout, red dun gelding. Junior is a once-in-a-lifetime horse. This 16 HH, 2005 broke gelding has been started as a head horse. He will do the whole job, from leaving the box to turning and facing, he just needs hours. He is currently being used on a ranch and trained by a PRCA Team Roper. He would also make a great breakaway horse, he is fast and has a good stop. You can go out in the corral and mess with him on the ground without a halter, and he will just stand there. I have crossed underneath this horse's belly from one side to the other. You can pick up all four feet and if you do it in the right order he will have them ready for you. He will greet you at the gate and hang his head over so you can love on him. He has been body shaved. He crosses water, dead fall, goes over hills, and will let you rope his legs. He side passes up to a gate so that you can open it. He neck reins and works off your leg, takes his leads, stops on his hindquarters, can side pass the length of the arena, and will even give you a decent spin. He will chase anything. He will drag a log at a gallop, naturally rates a cow and will hold a calf while you get off and work with it. Best of all, Mommy was bred to work cows, and Daddy has a 116 speed index so not only will he rate the steer for you, you won't have to worry about getting out run. He can out run everything on our place, including our neighbor's 1D barrel horse. The longer you rope on him, the better he works. This is not a horse that will get progressively hotter.

This stout April 2010 filly is an own daughter of Watch Red Song, 2 time reserve grand champion in Heading and 1997 Superhorse contender. Watch Red Song has AQHA points in Calf Roping, Heeling, Heading, and Performance Halter. He is 91% foundation bred. On her mother's side she goes back to NCHA Money earners Leo San and Fritz Command, as well as National Reined Cow Horse hall of fame stallion King Fritz. This filly is bred to work cows, and she isn't hard on the eyes, either. She looks like a little carbon copy of her daddy, but with more chrome. Based on her parents, she should top out around 15HH full grown, and weigh around 1300 lbs. Calf Ropers and Team Ropers, take a look. She has the brains and the pedigree to make any kind of rope horse you want. You could probably even start her as a reined cow horse prospect. We need to get her moved, so make us an offer. Best offer by the end of September takes her home.

This pretty June 2010 filly is an own daughter of Watch Red Song, 2 time reserve grand champion in Heading and 1997 Superhorse contender. Watch Red Song has AQHA points in Calf Roping, Heeling, Heading, and Performance Halter. He is 91% foundation bred. On her mother's side she goes back to NCHA Money earners Mr. Sugar Boy (41 AQHA points) and Mr. Senbar (51 pts). Pedigree aside, though, there are no words to describe the kind of brains that this mare throws on her babies. She throws intelligent, easy-to-train babies who love people, and they have so much cow they will chase anything that will run away from them. This baby will already "work" our Australian shepherd out in the pen. Based on her parents, she should top out around 15.1-15.2 HH full grown, and weigh around 1250 lbs. Ropers take a look. She has the brains and the pedigree to make any kind of rope horse you want. If I had more time I would keep her and start her as a reined cow horse because all the pieces are there to make a good one. We need to get her moved, so make us an offer. Best offer by the end of September takes her home.
