Big, stout, red dun gelding. Junior is a once-in-a-lifetime horse. This
16 HH, 2005 broke gelding has been started as a head horse. He will
do the whole job, from leaving the box to turning and facing, he
just needs hours. He is currently being used on a ranch and trained
by a PRCA Team Roper. He would also make a great breakaway horse, he
is fast and has a good stop. You can go out in the corral and mess
with him on the ground without a halter, and he will just stand
there. I have crossed underneath this horse's belly from one side to
the other. You can pick up all four feet and if you do it in the
right order he will have them ready for you. He will greet you at
the gate and hang his head over so you can love on him. He has been
body shaved. He crosses water, dead fall, goes over hills, and will
let you rope his legs. He side passes up to a gate so that you can
open it. He neck reins and works off your leg, takes his leads,
stops on his hindquarters, can side pass the length of the arena,
and will even give you a decent spin. He will chase anything. He
will drag a log at a gallop, naturally rates a cow and will hold a
calf while you get off and work with it. Best of all, Mommy was bred
to work cows, and Daddy has a 116 speed index so not only will he
rate the steer for you, you won't have to worry about getting out
run. He can out run everything on our place, including our
neighbor's 1D barrel horse. The longer you rope on him, the better
he works. This is not a horse that will get progressively hotter.
